Monday 25/5

Raceday ! Time for the eliminations runs, qualifying is always great fun but elimination is the real thrilling part of the competition. Paul Ingar was facing Dave Wilson in the fist round and had a bit of a staging fight with Dave. The result was not good for the Islanders as Paul pulled a redlight and was out of the game for this event.... Wilson was on a stormer and ran the fastes ever Top Methanol run in europe-5,30 !!!                                                                             This was anyway a good start of the season for Paul Ingar and the Islanders; new PB 5,567, steady runs, no engine damage and a lot more power in ther to tune on for the comming events. It was also great to se Fred Hansen as a runer up and new European speed record holder on his first TMD event !!

Paul Ingar is facing Q 2 and new Eropean recordholder Dave Wilson in the first elimination run tomorrow.  This weekend has been kind with the islanders, Fred Hanssen is qulified as nr 3 with 5,38 and he also got the new European speed record - well done !! The Top Methanol Funy Car rookie, Per Håkon Trøa, is also racing the Islanders colors and is qulified as nr  4 in the tight FC field  - What a weekend for the Islanders !!  Stay tuned on Eurodragster.com tomorrow for the elimination runs.
