Thursday 21/5

Fred Hansen ended the test day with a headturning run,                                                       0,918 to 60  feet !!!  and 5,430 / 420 kmh ET                                                                                   -  Thats 8 thousandts of a sec behind the TMD European Record !!!!

The second testrun was a clean nice pass from Paul Ingar,                                                 0,955 to 60feet and 3,684/ 326kmh at 1/8 and                                                                         good looking 5,625/ 401kmh ET. Fred Hansen goes on in                                                         his awsome row of test sesons, todays testrun                                                                    was a storming 5,523/ 417 kmt  - Woow !

The first testrun today was a shakey ride for Paul Ingar,                                                         the Islander dragster was not easy on the driver on                                                               todays tune up !! 0,9564 to 60 feet and then a breif pedal                                                           for tireshake at 300 feet and 3,805/315kmh at 1/8, more                                                        tireshake and early of the throtle and 5,80/290kmt ET

Wednesday 20/5

Paul Ingar and the Team  have done som testing to                                                                       find a baseline for this years setup on the Islander's dragster.                                                  The ide was to do one 1/8 mile and one full 1/4 mile run.                                                           After some mecanic error in the first attempt they did a nice                                                0,946 60 fot and 3,692 at 1/8  mile .                                                                                          The next run  was also a strong run but the ET was not right                                             because the dragster rolled the beam and redlighted the timing system....                              The data recorded shows a strong run in the 5 sec zone :)                                                    So far the Team is happy with their new setup, there wil be                                                      some more testing tomorrow.                                                                                                  The new Top Methanol  driver Fred Hansen shocked                                                           everybody with two storming runs today, 5,64 and 5,54 !!!!
