Paul Ingar and the Team have done som testing to find a baseline for this years setup on the Islander's dragster. The ide was to do one 1/8 mile and one full 1/4 mile run. After some mecanic error in the first attempt they did a nice 0,946 60 fot and 3,692 at 1/8 mile . The next run was also a strong run but the ET was not right because the dragster rolled the beam and redlighted the timing system.... The data recorded shows a strong run in the 5 sec zone :) So far the Team is happy with their new setup, there wil be some more testing tomorrow. The new Top Methanol driver Fred Hansen shocked everybody with two storming runs today, 5,64 and 5,54 !!!!
