Hockenheim Rookies.

The Veidec Festival was a tuff batle for the Islanders, a lot of work on the car before and under the Race. All in all we are happy with the outcome after the Veidec Festival, with the roll in the Cornfield – back in business the next day and all runs in the 5.6 zone.     With only 3 week between the Veidec and Hockenheim races there is a short time to do service on the racecar, coach etc. and arrange the travel to the next race….Anyway the Islanders was on a good working effort after the Veidec and the gearbox is repaired, the Coach has got a new custom-fit awening and every ting is loaded. Paul Ingar drove the coach down to Oslo last weekend so Thor and Konrad can take it at the ferry to Germany on thuesday 12’th august, this makes it possible for the rest of the team to travel by air and save some time away from their jobs etc….    To easie up the travel for Santa Pod finals we got the nice offer from the Haberman family to store the Coach at their facilities in Germany between the races, this is really making life easier for the Islanders ! ( The Hockenheim trip is 1.400km and a long ferry journey etch way)The Islanders is exited to visit the Hockenheim race for the first time, we will do our very best to make some thrilling tight racing  -
